Baker’s Falls
This is one of the island’s most iconic waterfalls, named after the famous British explorer Sri Samuel Baker. It is 20 metres tall and features two notable drops. You may encounter challenging terrain during your trek to the falls, so bring good trekking shoes and gear.
World’s End
This is the key attraction that makes the Park so popular as an excursion destination at hotels like Araliya Red. It is a cliff that falls away at a sudden drop, providing some of the best views of the surrounding mountains.
Thotupola Kanda
This mountain is the third largest in the country, standing at 2537 metres. According to the legend of Ravana, it is believed to have been a landing point of King Ravana. The trek to the summit features several stunning viewpoints that make the journey all the more memorable.
Kirigalpoththa
Exploring this mountain is more difficult as the trail leading to it is not easily identifiable. However, if you have a chance to visit the park from any of the hotels in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka, make sure to bring an experienced guide with you so that you don’t miss a visit to the second-highest mountain in the country.
